Nyarugusu: A Temporary Home?

My friend, Philip Patroba, accompanied us to Nyarugusu refugee camp. Although a Tanzanian himself, this was his first time in Kigoma province, and the first time visiting a refugee camp.

I interviewed Philip after three days in Nyarugusu. His reflections focus on different aspects of the visit: first impressions, strengths of the people, major needs, highlights of the leadership seminar, and future opportunities.
